PROJECT: Partial Live Edge

DESCRIPTION: Looking for a new execution on a live edge round, I opted for a partial live edge on this piece. Despite to popularity of live edge, I was looking for something a little new and exciting. I preserved the best features of the wood and rounded off the two inch thick cedar's edges into a 31" diameter coffee table top. The base is fabricated from steel flat stock, and welded together in this tripod formation. The piece was sold and lives in a carriage home in Squamish, BC.
