PROJECT: Reception Desk

DESCRIPTION: Breaking up the office space and creating a little feature piece was the idea here. Inspired by a 2D graphic that is a key image around the company’s website, presentations, etc, I morphed it into this 3D form for the front entrance of this Toronto office space. The face panels are a combination of CNC’d foam core and MDF panels, with a plywood backer for strength and mounting. The walnut worktop compliments the adjacent boardroom table and room divider that was commissioned shortly before.
